| Will the TH-350 handle ~ 600 ft. lbs. of torque?
My TH-350 has a TCI kit in it, and a dynamic 3500 stall. I run a
cooler, and have a pan that cools the fluid too. It's about
8 years old now, but doesn't have much mileage on it.
What can I do, assuming I must keep this style transmission to
strengthen it? I deal mainly with TCI for stuff. What are the
chances of a case failure?
While I'm worried about this, what is a 10 bolt 8.5" rear end good
too, HP/Torque wise? I have Forged steel axles and a richmond ring
and pinion in there. What can/will fail in this set up? I've seen
this rear end cover that supposedly helps strenthen the case. Is this
worthwile, or should I jump onto the 12 bolt or 9" bandwagon (narrowed
of cour$e).

NO.
A TH-400 with modified sprags and low/reverse planetarys will though...
