| I just got a recall notice on my 1988 300ZX for injector leak = engine
fire. I know for a fact that the injectors are leaking. I was having
trouble starting it; seems they lose prime if it sits for a while. I
was quoted an exhorbitant amount of money to replace the injectors back
then. Now it gets done for free! I'm not sure how much of a danger the
engine fire is. Do I take the chance and drive it to the dealer (4
miles) or have it towed?

Sarah, how long have you been driving it, knowing that the inject-
ors were leaking?
And how does a measly 4 miles compare to that number? 8^)

I haven't been driving it at all. It's in the garage for the winter. I
noticed a problem because I routinely start it up and it was not
starting on a random basis. It actuallyhad to be towed to the repair
shop when I got the diagnosis that it was the injectors.

Thanks. I wasn't sure if 4 miles was enough to really heat it up. All
I need is for it to catch on fire on the way...

A friend of my son owns a 92 300ZX and wants to make it go faster. I just read
through this note string and a couple of aftermarket suppliers are mentioned.
HKS for one. Do these people still exist and does anyone have an address or
phone number. Any other recomendations for go fast parts ?
