    I don't think my selection was at all obscure.  It received a lot
    of attention, due to Fishbone's popularity in the Ska set, the novelty
    of Annette Funicello and the fact that it was from a moderately
    popular movie last year.  I've read first-liners that were considerably
    more obscure than that.  I don't listen to much in the way of top-40,
    so choosing only a-sides of chart hits is virtually impossible for

   Personally, the  album  ("Soul Mining") is a phenomenal work, better than
   Johnson's  '85 LP "Infected", but not as good as his first, "Burning Blue
   Soul".  MTV actually showed the video for "This is the Day" a bit ago...
   The  12"  of "Uncertain Smile" is oodles and loads better than the single
   mix....  and  how  can  anyone  not get blown away by Jools Holland's HOT
   piano licks at the end????

   Gimme a bit to think of a -good- one...
