| I had a Ford E-250 van shipped from Boston to Las Vegas by
A-A Auto Transport

Total cost $1,400. Normally the cost is $1,200., but this van was
modified for a handicap lift with a raised roof; it could not go on
a car carrier trailer but had to go on a flat bed trailer. The van
was supposed to be empty but I shipped a wheelchair and some other
personal goods in exchange for having the fuel tank below 1/8 full.
This outfit was nice and the deal came off without a problem.
They subcontracted with a guy who spends his life driving around the
country in a F350 Ford diesel towing a vehicle or two on a twin axle
trailer. My van shared the ride with a '64 Corvair van coming from
California on its way to Long Island.
