Does anyone know a non-smoking hairstylist AND shop that they would recommend?  
I would prefer the northeast section of Colorado Springs.  The person should
be someone that can be trusted not to do a hack job but also not cost $25 or
more.  Is that even possible?  ;-)

Also, my hubby is looking for a non-smoking barber and shop.  Northeast would
be preferred.

Experience here and other cities have proven that the *only* way to get
good consistent service is to find the right *individual* hair stylist and
follow them over half the universe if they move.  You can get a great cut
at one of the "We cut hair cheaply places" or you can get a terrible cut.

On the other hand, I've seen people walk out of places having spent $40
for a haircut and looking hacked and / or scalped.

Price is clearly no measure of quality.

For the cheap places, the staff turns over so quickly, it is hard to 
establish a relationship with a particular stylist more than through
2 cuts!

    Can anyone recommend an *inexpensive* place to get glasses?  I haven't
    been very happy with the quality of glasses I've gotten from Wal-Mart
    or Sam's, but don't want to pay $200 for a pair of glasses, either.

    I need to buy about 50 metal grommets (of the kind used on camping
    tarps).  The only place I've found them is at a fabric store, but only
    in small packages at a rhediculous price ($4.95 for a bag of 10
    grommets).  Is their any place in town to buy them in larger quantities
    at a lower price? 

    Perhaps the army surplus place down on Colorado??

    You can get grommets at Tandy Leathercraft. They have all sizes,
    along with the setters.  You can also get the very large heavy-duty 
    snaps there.  They are located in the Rustic Hills South shopping
    center (or at least they were the last time I went there).

    Has anyone had any experiences, either good or bad, that you'd be
    willing to share regarding Gutter Replacement companies in the Colorado
    Springs area?
    
    We need to replace the gutters on our house, and would like to get some

plant?  Don't suggest Walmart, Target, K-Mart, Hobby Lobby, Home Depot
because I've tried them all.  I saw a grand total of 3 among those places.
I also visited a couple of flower stores and nurseries.  I don't need
anything fancy, but I would like to have *some* selection.

Havn't been in Pier 1 for a while, but that is the kind of thing they
would handle. You might check them out. Next to BlockBusterm Academy and
Dublin.

Rats, I knew I was pushing my luck.

Well, I have to say it. Hobby Lobby had a bumch of different style hanging baskets this
weekend. It all depends on when you go. liesl

    and which store.  Hobby Lobby doesn't have uniform stock in all the
    stores.  Alternatively you could weave your own.  they are one of the
    quicker and more fun things to craft, far better than sewing or
    needlepointy for my old eyes.
