   Springsteen - Born to Run.
Booker T and the MGs - Green Onions.
   Rod Stewart - Maggie May.
David Bowie - Gene Genie (sp?)
   More follows....

Having what appears to be a car full of Des O'Connor tapes may not be
such a bad idea. I recently read a story about someone who had their car
broken into and over 60 pre-recorded tapes stolen. 5 were left behind - all
by the aforementioned gentleman!

| 936.14 | something smooth | MARVIN::RUSLING | MicroServer Phase V Session Control | Thu Jan 25 1990 11:07 | 15 |
| | I like music that flows with good guitar solos. Anything to agressive gets
on my nerves in the car, so something smooth and relaxing and usually Bluesy:
Eric Clapton - great on a sunny day with the top down. Any of
his albums, but his greatist hit does contain the Peugot advert
	  music (name that track!)
	Chris Rea - any album
Stones - yes, I still buy their albums.
	Ricki Lee Jones
My daughter (21 months) always demands that I play music when I drive (I
also have to wear my flat hat). She sometimes asks for the Hokey Cokey, but
there are limits to parenthood!

| | Found this in the tape box today...

still works as well as ever.

Top down, or roof open, hair in the air, and telegraph posts, lamposts
or trees slipping by in time with the closing bars.

They played this on the radio while driving across Texas, which is a
pretty desolate area in places, and after plugging away for hours at
a steady 55 the guitar break and closing bars was too much to resist.
    Foot down and volume up.
