a) I lost my Z-bend pliers, but this is better.
b) No traffic ever comes along *this* road.
c) The wind sock only *LOOKS* full.
d) Nobody ever uses that frequency
e) Sure it's aerobatic, but it's still a good trainer.

- "Simple to build, easy to fly!" (tm).
- Man, that wing's unbreakable!
- Dang thing won't start anyway, what do I need
the chicken finger for?

o Look, it does that at the bottom of every outside loop.....
o Don't take all that stuff to the field, someone else will bring it.
o That plug has lasted all summer.
o It worked last time I used it!.
o One last flight before I go....

Why should I clean up a Master Airscrew before I hand flip it?.
We always use CA to seal a really big wound like that !.
Happy New Year everbody..

"That should be close enough" (Note: while lining up the empennage)
or it's kissin' cousin
"I can trim it in the air"
"Trees on the right? I'll just fly to the left"

1478.15 | = spring fishing trip | VTLAKE::WHITE_R | Pigs don't Intermodal | Mon Jan 04 1993 09:30 | 8 |
| Observed this weekend during a flying session on Lake Champlain.
"It doesn't need ski floats. This bay is frozen over. Note all of the
fisherman on the ice."
8 lbs of plane on a 1/4" of ice = gulp, gulp, gulp

self experience :
said to myself : " don't fly slalom around those snow poles aside the
street, you always have trouble with the depth estimation"
said the son of my sister: "fly slalom"
me : "okay"
said to myself:"now I passed that pole, TURN !"
end of story, end of day, end of plane

Two heard at the first decent weekend's flying this year!
"And she'll do it just as well inverted"
"Sometimes this tank takes so long to fill, you'd think you were filling the
fuselage!......... Oh %$@**!!!!"

1478.19 | My Favorite Student Gag | ELMAGO::RMOUSER | RON MOUSER, ABO/B3,552-2152 | Thu Feb 04 1993 13:09 | 4 |
| My favorite line I hear when I am instructing:
I've watched you do it, how hard can it be? I'll
try it myself first!!!!
|
1478.20 | Forget Last Line | ELMAGO::RMOUSER | RON MOUSER, ABO/B3,552-2152 | Thu Feb 04 1993 13:11 | 3 |
| Left out the last sentence:
Will you fix it for me??

1478.21 | One of my favourites. | CSTEAM::HENDERSON | Competition is Fun: Dtn 297-6180, MRO4 | Thu Feb 04 1993 17:09 | 4 |
| It won't idle, well then, just run it at full throttle and go for it!.
Followed by, can anyone climb trees....

1478.22 | You missed one | 3D::REITH | Jim 3D::Reith MLO1-2/c37 223-2021 | Fri Feb 05 1993 07:47 | 7 |
| In between those two is usually:
(It won't idle, well then, just run it at full throttle and go for it!.)
I'm too high, I'll have to go around <cough> S#!t
(can anyone climb trees)

1478.23 | More instructor goodies........ | ELMAGO::RMOUSER | RON MOUSER, ABO/B3,552-2152 | Fri Feb 05 1993 16:06 | 13 |
| Since I soloed ONCE, I thought I would go out by myself and
fly.....will you help me fix it?
But I charged the batteries last month!
I didn't think the stuff you told me to correct was that im-
portant.
I did a range test 6 months ago. I didn't think you had to do
another one after a crash.....
I flew full scale planes 10 years ago and didn't think I needed an
instructor.

1478.24 | More experience | CSC32::HAGERTY | Veni, Vedi, $Cmkrnli, Rebooti | Fri Apr 30 1993 10:47 | 10 |

a) I'll cut the monocote, fix the problem, and re-monocote it.
You'll never be able to see the repair.
b) I haven't used these rubber bands too much.
c) I don't feel like going around. I'll just give some down
elevator instead.
d) The wind will go down after I get up.
|
1478.25 | I can't work with an audience | BAHTAT::EATON_N | Nigel Eaton | Mon Jun 28 1993 09:12 | 13 |

Hey everybody, wanna come to the field and see me fly my plane?
(See Jacque's latest update on the "rogue" engine!)

1478.26 | Tale from the Dark Ages | CSC32::HAGERTY | Veni, Vedi, $Cmkrnli, Rebooti | Fri Sep 03 1993 11:00 | 14 |
| From last night:
"It's still light enough to fly. I still have plenty of depth
perception on landing"
"That sign is well to the left of the plane"
because of the old favorite:
"Aw, just one more flight".
(Picture Dave, building another left half of an Eagle-2 wing while
blushing).
