Conference csse::coinop

    
        In need of a 6-digit led display for a 1979 Stern Magic.
    
        Back of failing unit states "Beckman SP492" on the front
        it is a "Stern 4C-226"
    
        I have performed the usual swap unitl you drop. This unit
        not function, in fact it last kinda flickered out.
    
        Any pointers to parts houses, or other notes is appreciated.

That is a standard 6 digit display, same as Bally. Any of the parts houses will
have it. Best bet is Mayair Amusments;

New glass alone is about $10-$15, used entire display with module is about the
same.

Anyone have a plunger assembly they'll let go for a reasonable 
price?

    I have some for williams.  What do you consider reasonable :-)

This is for a otherwise mint Harley Davidson machine. Are they 
pretty much universal?

    unfortunately, not really.  I think these have "W" on them, and I think
    harley davidson is a bally.  If you don't mind that, it may work

Well, it's my brother's machine and he told me that he wants to 
be anal on this and get one that matches so the "w" won't do.
