    i wished i could spend a day somewhere where there were at least a few 
    noters of this file (like CO, GA, or MA). i'd have a bash just to get
    rid of some of this venison suasage. 125lbs of summer sausage it a LOT. 

    there's several of us here in the bay area, too, and I'd bet Robert and
    I'd both eat venison...

    Ya see, Terrie is a cat lover and worries about her feline companions a
    lot.  It appears she was doing a mammary check on her cats and found
    lumps whihc as we all know need to be checked out ASAP in case there
    are any problems.  Terrie took her cat to the vet where by he announced
    that the poor little kitty wasn't really sick but had a healthy case of
    the nipples.  Seeing as the kitty in question is a male, it shouldn't
    have them.  We all assured Terrie that the male of most species
    inclusing humans has them also and from all appearances, we were
    healthy.  :-)

    The Boxboro Host Hotel is off of 495 at the exit for Rt.111.  The hotel 
    itself is quite a bit off the road, but the green sign for the drive is 
    right on 111 and there's a red neon sign visible from 495.  Send mail if 
    you need better directions.
    
    If you go into the hotel itself (electric doors), the entrance for Jerry's 
    is to the left (wide opening).  Right inside the door there's a raised
    platform with a ramp leading up to a seating area with huge couches and
    a fireplace.  (It looks really comfortable 8^).)  I would presume that
    the earlier anyone gets there the more likely we are to have that area
    to ourselves 8^), hint hint.
    
    There are other places to sit, but I liked the way that looked.

Sounds mahvelous...  count me in.  Will we have the
opportunity to swan dive into the indoor pool from
the balcony of the Glenns' room?

ALSO don't forget Feb 16th at Amory's to meet Bob Ainsley

Longest but most straightforward.
Take RT85 from HLO to RT117 in Bolton, turn right on RT117(it is a "T" 
intersection) follow 117 into Maynard, at the big fork in the road with a 
Mobil station in the middle of the fork, take the left fork, you will go into 
beautiful downtown-Maynard. Amory's will be on the left in the second(third)
block of businesses. Parking is reasonably available on the street or
across in the DEC lot(We're all employees so how can they object? :-}).

    The box bash was marred by the skilful way in which the waitron ignored
    our table, messed up the order(s) and was basically an unpleasant
    individual.  IMO of course.  Other than that, Gle(nx2) seemed rather
    complete for such a multi-faceted individual even if he does have a

That might be a good idea - especially this time of year. Most nights
when I get home it's about 48 in the house, so the extra bodies would
kinda warm the place up without me needing to bring in any firewood.

Then, too, there's plenty of snow and ice outside, so the fact that
I've only got one working toilet won't be a problem.

And the dogs always love company. Though they do tend to fight with
each other out of jealousy when there are strange people around.

And, if the weather's "iffy", there should be enough folks to push
all the cars back up the 1/4 mile of driveway to the road. Sure as
hell the plow won't be around for a day or two.

Other than that, everyone'd have to bring their own food, drink
and utensils/glasses, but I've got plenty of paper plates and a fridge
to keep stuff in (or, we could use the laundry room, since folks
won't be in there and it'll still be 48�).

I could accomodate about 30 folks, shoulder to shoulder, if you don't
mind standing all the time. I've got seating for three in the living
room, but the stacks of magazines and catalogs would have to be moved
first, in case anyone wants to come a few days ahead of time to cleanup.

We could have a good ol' time. In your dreams.

    The way I am with numbers I`d take a -C and be drunk for a week. I have
    this phobia and it has to do with the fear of numbers. Every time I
    took a math course (right through my MBA) I had to get hypnotized

    Look, I was born three weeks late, and I haven't managed to catch up
    yet 8^).

	I did have a good time though. Got there around 5:15, which no one was
there yet, and waited until about 6:00, when Amos introduced himself. Guess he
had been there before me! Brian showed up right when Amos was doing intro's,
and as we sat down for a few minutes, Bob & his girlfriend showed up. Talk
about 2 little lovebirds.... :-)  

	I think I know why Deb shows up late. It has nothing to do with being
born 3 months late. It has to do with wanting to make a GRAND entrance! Don't
you know Deb you light up any room??? (and that room needed lighting)

 I won't be there tonight afterall..following Joanne's advice, I offered
 to take the temps of my people.  My court appearance is at 4:30.

	Brian, while they do say one way to break a fever is to take a cool
bath, I don't think they had your frigid hands in mind. :-)

Very nice bash.

Great to see Messrs. Binder and Markey as always. Mr. Covert stopped in for
a short time complete with mini-sandwich board (or was that a canape, /john?)

A pleasure as always seeing the guests of honor, Mz. Deb, Pat B. and Joanne
of the life of leisure.

Also wonderful to see 'Tine again. (We should do this more often.)

And most especially nice to meet Mrs. Hendersen's son and fellow Upstate
New York native, MadMan Moroney, after all these years. Both gentlemen are
as nice in person as they are in NOTES.
