| I have given up try. I seal the affected area with thin CA, sand,
seal again, and cover/paint. Usually works. Fast too.

| I had heard about trying thin CA, but was told that Formula U
(urethane) won't stick. Can someone verify this. It would great
if I could just CA it.

I've never heard about the incompatibility problem with Formula-U
vs CA adhesives that you mention. There's a sure way to find out
for sure though; slap a little CA in thin film on a scrap piece
of balsa and have at it with the Formula-U...if it sticks, great
and if not, yer' info is accurate.
