close during my shopping experience...

	I've thought of several ways to put this.  

Such as:

I really want to buy a Wrangler and I just can't afford it on my salary, so...

or:


I'm realizing a lifelong dream and moving to the Bruce Springsteen state...


or:

Having lived in Maryland for 18 years and Massachusetts for 12.5, I'm looking
for new experiences and therefore am moving to New Jersey.


or:

but, to be a little more serious...

After 12 wonderful years here, I am moving to New Jersey for "personal
reasons".  That person being really cute and nice all the time, plus he has a
cool truck, significant income potential, and Sassy really likes him.  I will
really miss this area, you, and Digital.  I've been able to go to parties for
over 8 years and talk about what a great job I have, and that's pretty unusual. 
New England is gorgeous and very special and I'm happy to have had a chance to
be here.

I'm going to work at Lucent Technologies in Holmdel, NJ.  I don't have a
forwarding anything, yet.  I'll probably be at [email protected] or
[email protected], but you can always try [email protected].  Or just email
me via Hal (the person) at [email protected].  Or call me at his apartment,
(908)790-0847.  I'll be staying there for a while until I get an apartment.

My last day of work is the 21st, and I start at Lucent on the 24th.  Kinda
sudden, yes, but I assure you there's some rational reason behind all this.

Life should be pretty good down there.  Let's just say the building was built
when AT&T had a monopoly...  It's on about a million acres in the middle of
horse farm country.  They play soccer at lunch twice a week, after work
the other three days... There's a decent women's rugby club that practices
about 20 minutes away... Bruce Springsteen's home town is about 20 minutes
away...

PS Does anyone want a really nice, huge 2.5 bedroom apartment (top floor of a
two family house) in Shrewsbury?  The rent is very "reasonable" (below market
value)
