Conference noted::ibmpc-95

 I thought I'd drop by and see if Intel would give DECies a discount
 on pentiums, but after walking their current menu and getting list of
 the available documents nothing looks quite right for the discount
 price lists we used to be able to get.  Did it go away, or just 
 become less intuitive?

    Look at .29, Bruce. Asking for doc # 9425 from almost any of the main

    So, what you're saying is I could put one of these in my 486DX4-100
    motherboards *if* it supports this?  How can I tell? I believe it is a
    Cheyenne motherboard and had AmiBIOS on it and handles larger disks
    with LBA and block mode.
    
    

    re: .434 - Only the 83Mhz POD, only if you have the proper OD socket,
    and the proper BIOS code. None of the others will work.
    
    But it won't be significantly faster than the DX4-100.
    
    Best to do a full MB upgrade with a real Pentium.
