| I hope we don't get a lot of replies like, "Oh, my *husband* is"

Also, Kurt Russell is very nice looking.
I guess my vote for *the* sexiest man in the world has to be a 3-way

But, I'd have to spend an entire night alone with each of them in
order to narrow it down to one. :-)

| Re .13, I think David Bowie is sexy, too, and I could get *very
interested*! :-)
(For a *disinterested* opinion on the sexiest *woman* in the world,
I'd choose Kim Basinger.) :-)
Re .11, Roland Guess (is it Guess or Guest?) is attractive. I didn't
think so until I saw him in the movie, "Scandal", and then I was
forced to sit up and take notice!
I also think Sting and John Cougar Mellencamp are attractive.
In the "don't ask me why" category, I think Keith Richards is sexy.
He's homely but he has style, talent, a sense of humour and he's
a non-conformist and a living legend! Anyway, what could be sexier
than a man who has led an interesting life? :-)
But, if the previews of "Great Balls of Fire" are any indication I think
I might have to narrow my vote for the world's sexiest man down
to Dennis Quaid. I almost had a heart attack just watching the
previews. He has the most mischievous smile I've ever seen on a
grown-up, and a sparkle in his eyes, as well as gorgeous facial
features and a nice body.

Re one on John Kennedy, Jr., and I think his father was the *only*
US President who has even remotely qualified as being sexy! Ted
may not look like much now, but the first time I ever shook hands
with him, in 1962, he *wasn't bad.* But, I still think Bobby Kennedy
qualifies as the sexiest politician of this century. When I was
a teenager in the 60's I had the hots for him bad!
As far as older men go, I saw the new Star Trek last night, and
I think William Shatner is aging well. If most men in their 50's
still looked that good it would be a merrier world for us women!
Smokey Robinson is aging very well, too. He's still good looking.

A report from the gay contingent...
1) Nick Nolte
Heavy sigh. He was awesome in "The Deep," and still sexier in
"New York Stories" (who mentioned "torn clothes and all
sweaty"???). He was also great in "Cannery Row," but Debra Winger
deserves half the credit for the heat in that movie.
2) Sam Elliot/Kevin Costner
If I am in a lewd mood, Sam wins (what a leer he has; and those
eyes). If I am in a more romantic mood, Kevin wins (what an air
of calm around that wonderful face and body; loved him with the
mustache in "American Flyers").
3) Tom Selleck
What need I say?
Honorable mention:
-----------------
Mel Gibson (Dressed in a towel in "Living Dangerously"??? Woof!)
Sean Connery (still!!!)
Robert Redford
Paul Newman (One of my earliest sexual memories was being turned on
seeing him in a sleeveless tee shirt in "The Sting."
Wade Boggs (For his body, not his morals)
Jim Rice
Bill Buckner
Michael Jordon
For what it's worth: Balding men are H*O*T! Very sexy. Sean Connery

night and said that she had watched the current George Michael video

Re George Michael,(you know, I would really *love* to be able to

observation that quite a few people have nice buns but not many
people have faces that look as cute as his does. (and his clothes
and hair are always just perfect-I am really impressed by the look
he manages to achieve :-) and I don't feel that way about too many
people)

him in different magazines, and staring at his face on

Keaton. He does seem like the perfect guy, *almost* as old as
I am, separated, talented, attractive but not too handsome, funny,
smart, great personality, and as Batman, rich, generous and able
to take care of himself :-)! (Too bad he's a famous movie star

| Had to reply to this one.
I had the good fortune of sitting next to Alda at a meeting. He
was watching a segment of MASH that he had directed and starred
in. His response was extraordinary -- he was enjoying the show
as though he wasn't the guy on screen. It was so neat.
Also talked to him afterwards. He IS just as humble and sweet and
sensitive as he seems. He's a great audience and laughs wonderfully
and loud at others' jokes.
He was great. How nice it was to see a successful person who wasn't
full of egotistical bullshit.

| Here in Baltimore there is a local chain of bicycle stores. They
hire lots of triathletes. (Now I can understand what women must feel
like when they are at a store that has lots of cheerleader types
working there.) I asked one of the owners of the store if he realized
that his store is discriminitory twords older fat guys like myself.
These triatheltes are in great shape have great tans and no fat
at all! They are intimidating to be around.
My wife would pick Tom Cruse and Tom Sellack but I think these guys
at the local bike shop are the sexiest guys around.

| I saw Action Jackson the other day, and while Vanity appealed greatly
to my date, he made a deal with me that I could have Carl Weathers.
Since gorgeous black men are probably not spotlighted so much, I
recommend that anyone who is curious can take a look at the Video
jacket.
Carl Weathers stands about 6'2". He's obviously a body builder. There
are a few scenes in the movie where he gets mad and flexes... its
AWESOME!!! He wears his hair cut short and well shaped, and sports a
moustache. He has beautiful eyes and a very warm winning smile. His
skin is a deep chocolate. (Kinda lickable)
I'd take Carl over Arsenio or Murphy or Cosby (definitely) and even my
old heart-throb LeVar Burton. On the other hand, if Aretha Franklin's
son ever went into modeling, Carl might lose.
