The Principaut� de Monaco is becoming a car mfg country. During the F1 GP of 1990 a new company has been introduced : MCA for Monaco Constructions Automobiles. A new "supercar" has been introduced : the CENTENAIRE, named after the 100th anniversary of the Automobile Club of Monaco. The CENTENAIRE will be in the same category as other exclusive supercars such as the Lamborghini Diablo, Jaguar XJ220, Bugatti 110, .... The CENTENAIRE is powered by a Lamborghini V12. MCA should build approx. 12 cars/year. The official presentation of the CENTENAIRE should have happened at the same time Stefano Casiraghi lost his life in an offshore race.

The Centenaire has got a new sister. MCA Monte Carlo Automobiles
managed by ex race driver Fulvio Ballabio have just introduced a new
member of the MCA family at the Los ANgeles auto-show:
the MCA GTB V12 Turbo.
The CENTENAIRE is powered by a 7ltr V12 designed by Monte Carlo
Engineering, a subsidiary of MCA, led by Carlo CHITI (ex Alfa-Romeo,
Ferrari, Motori Moderni, ...). But the V12 is big and heavy.
Monte Carlo Engineering in collaboration with Motori Moderni have
designed a new 4ltr V12, smaller and lighter than the 7ltr version. In
order to get 700+bhp they have added some turbo boost. Peak power is
720bhp, peak torque 79mkg (~daN).
The body of the GTB is very similar to that of the Centenaire with
minor modifications. The car looks more finished than the previouys
one.
For those planning to be at the Monaco GP the GTB will be displayed.
