| Almost nothing at all. The Dellorto is a copy/development of the
Weber design, with a few small differences.

I was told by Chamberlian (Roger King)
that Weber DC0E give rise to flat spots compared to Dellorto
Don't know if this is true, Art, but it is a comment.
Perhaps flat spots in Weber's are due to incorrect jetting?
Anyway, aren't Dellorto's a bit cheaper? :^)

| mmm...
the prices in ads i've seen for dellortos seem to be only about 5-10 cheaper
than the equivalent webers (hardly much when they cost about 120 anyway)
i remember reading (long ago) that dellortos stayed in tune longer, were more
fuel efficient & easier to tune. Actually i think this was in an article
on an early Westfield (spit) with a 145 bhp x-flow; could well have been
a Chamberlain one.
was just wondering what the differences between the two were...

| I've had both Weber and Dellortos on Lotus twin cams. There
really didn't appear to be much difference between them. If
anything I'd say that the Webers were better made and more
reliable but the Dellortos perhaps used less fuel and
provided for smoother running.

| ah so webers seem to be ok then.
height doesn't really matter since the carbs will be poking out of the side
if the car anyway
