A customer received two new AS2000 with ATI MACH64 ISA
cards in each. They don't want to use a graphics card
as their console device. They have a VT510 off COM1
that they want to use as the console..
They are trying to remove the MACH64 card, but along
with the system came a letter:

Dear Customer,
This letter is to notify you of a configuration constraint which
was not communicated through the normal ordering process.
Your AS2000 system has been configured with an EISA PB2GA-AA or CA
video card in slot 3 or 4. To maximize system performance this
video card should always remain in slot 3 or 4.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may have
caused. The system you have received has been tested at our
factory and meets the system specifications at the time of your
purchase.

The above letter is in reference to the Qvision graphics card.
By removing the ATI Mach 64 card, should this affect system
performance ?
