5169.6Mosquito crash reportOSEC::ROXBURGHFri Jun 06 1997 08:4713
    The AAIB have published the report on the Mosquito crash, it can be
    found at:

    		http://www.open.gov.uk/aaib/jun97htm/gaskh.htm

    The conclusion is that the accident resulted from a loss of control of
    the aircraft associated with a temporary loss of power from the left
    engine. The report goes into detail of the examination of the airframe,
    fuel system, powerplant and carburettors and although they can't
    determine the exact cause, it seems likely to have been due to the
    carburettors in the reduced g conditions during the wingover.
