    The kids have been through the mill in a domestic violence situation
    and the mom, who is trying to hold it together, could use some moral
    support. If anyone is cleaning out last year's stuff and can offer it
    cheap, I'd appreciate it. The mom has lots to worry about right now
    and help in providing for the kids would be appreciated.

	We just came back from Disney World and we bought the ears, so that's
	all set.  In Disney they sold Minnie dresses (Red with white pok-a-dots)
	for $40.00. I thought that was outragous to spend on a Halloween
	costume.  So now I'm looking for the dress in hopes that I won't have

    My 8-yr old daughter wants to be "Bride of Frankenstein" for Halloween
    this year.  I think what she needs is a bridal gown or something
    similar?  I've looked at the pattern books and couldn't find anything
    specific for BofF, nor have I found a ready-made costume. Does anyone
    have anything [very rasonably priced, please] that would work? Any
    suggestions? I'm willing to make something simple, just don't know
    quite where to start ( a very common occurance for me these daze...)

My daughter had an outfit that had different

rainbow colored wig and it was pretty funny.

    I am looking for a pair of REAL maternity jeans.  Not the kind with the
    wide legs and thin material.  I need heavyweight ones.  Only ones I
    found were in a boutique for >$50.00.  I am a camper and the poor
    excuse I see for jeans out there just won't do.

    I don't remember which note it was in but there were some parents
    looking for a small thermos for lunches for their little ones.  I
    stopped at the Rugged Bear in Amherst, If you're coming from Nashua on
    101A when you reach the junction of 101A and 122 you'll want to turn
    left.  There's a real estate office on the right, after that is the
    Rugged Bear.  The thermos' I saw were about 3 inches tall and at least
    that wide.
    
    Now, I'm looking for a one piece cold weather outfit made out of
    polarfleece in a 2T.  Aaron is wearing a 24 month size now, I expect
    he'll be out of that by the end of the year at the latest.  I want to
    get a 1 piece outfit made out of thermofleece, I have only found 2
    piece outfits in the toddler sizes.  If anyone sees a larger size,
    please let me know.  Otherwise I guess it's time to start looking in

    I think I can handle getting him the thermals (of course polypropelene

    whatever I can find), I have wool socks and polyp... liners from
    skiing, and lots of hats, sweaters, etc.  Just don't have any wool
    pants.  The leader suggested going to a Salvation Army-type store and

It's a long shot, but ...

Noelle inherited a bunch of Disney book-and-cassette-tapes from
her older nephew (who is now 11).  But some of the cassettes
didn't make it over.  The titles are:
	Small One
	Jingle Bells
	Mickey's Christmas Carol
	Mother Goose
	(and there are probably others I've forgotten).

These are the cassettes that read the story to the child and
sound a chime whenever the child should turn the page in the
book.  All of our inherited cassettes are made of red plastic.

If you have any of these lying around your house that your
child(ren) have outgrown, I'd be willing to buy them.

    in the living room.  Prefer a medium stain color, and prefer it not to

    re to .538 (my own) ... in case anyone else is interested, I found a
    wonderful solution to the living room toy clutter, and it's quite
    attractive, at that.
    
    In search of a "wooden toybox" I found a cedar chest at Bradlees that
    was on clearance from $149.00 to $61.00 ... bought it like THAT!  It's
    mostly press-board, with that oak-grain finish, and a piece of cedar
    that inserts into the lid.  Those spring-safety hinges, even the 2 yr
    old can open/close it.  It's almost 4' long and holds TONS of toys. 
    And when you close the top, it's beautiful - AND a bench.  
    
    There were several fo them left in the Simoneau Plaza store in Nashua,
    over by the electronics dept.  And there was nothing at all wrong with
    it (except it weighs 78 lbs (ugh!) and took almost 2 hours to
    assemble).
    
    

    Toddler outgrowing carseat.  'Nana' looking for next size up - over 35#;
    looked in Right Start last week, but would like to avoid paying nearly
    $80.  I might be interested in 2 or 3 of these; for parents and other
    grandmother.  Live in MA.; north of Boston.

    WANTED: Bouncy Seat for Infants
    
    I need a spare for my daycare provider.  My 4 month son really likes
    his seat, & I cannot keep bringing it back and forth along with him and
    his two brothers every day.  Patrick's my last so I don't want to
    invest in a new or expensive one.
    
    It;s one of those cloth seats that is on a tubular wire frame. The baby
    is semi reclined rather than sitting upright, and is held in usually a
    piece of cloth.  It sometimes has a toy attachment.  I'm not sure of
    the official name for this but it bounces a little to keep the baby
    happy/in motion.  It's usually a 20 pound or so limit I think.
    
    If you have one hanging around, don't plan on retiring as a result of
    this sale, and live/work between Worcester and Framingham, and north to
    Littleton, drop me a line with your name number/node, condition,
    description and asking price.

I think that Meredith is right next to Ashland, NH.  If that's close enough 
for you, than by far my #1 top recommendation for a family (particularly KID)
orientated campground, would be Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park.  We had really
lousy weather (rained 4 days out of 8), but the kids had an absolutely 
AWESOME time, since there was *SO* much to do!!  Every day is a full schedule
of goings on, for kids of all ages.  We went for 7 nights, 8 days, with 5
kids, ages 2-11, 2 adults, and everyone had a great time.  The weather put a 
bit of a damper on things for the adults (mostly we just wanted our cozy bed,
and to be able to go to the bathroom barefoot (-:), but I don't have a single
bad thing to say about the whole week.

Just came back yesterday, and I want to go back!!  Had a b.day party for 1 of
the kids, and Yogi stopped up, brought a card, took a photo (all included in
the site price).  We had "Christmas in July", so there was a Christmas party
and a New Year's Eve party, and a live band and dancing and tons and tons of
fun!  I miss candy-bar bingo!! (-:

Cost is $35.00/night for water/elec (that might also be the price w/ sewer), 
for 2 adults.  Kids are $1.00/ea/extra.  We went to Clark's one day - they're
about 35 mins from there.  Went to Weir's beach - that was about 20-25 mins.

An AWESOME time!!  Check it out!!!  The nicest part was that since there was 
*SO* much to do at the campground, we were able to cancel our trip to Story-
land, and save quite a bit of money.  I think that Annalee's was about 10-15
mins, so it's not too far.

It did tend to get chilly, so bring warm clothes!!

    for a toddler size 3T t-shirt that is grey and has a picture of Cookie
    Monster on it.  My daughter has been wearing her Cookie Monster t-shirt

Hello All,

My niece has a 3 year old booster seat which I believe is Fisscher Price.
Her seat is a blue one piece base with a removable red seat back.  By placing
the seat back in one or the other sides of the blue base the height of this
booster seat is changed.

The new version (only version available at Toy'R'Us) has a two piece base and a
seat back.  The new version does not seem as stable as the older version.

I want to use this booster seat for double duty: first as a booster seat but
also as a stand alond chair on the floor.

Anyone have an older style booster they are willing to part with?
Anyone have any suggestions for a seat on the market that would serve well at
the table and on the floor?

    Does anyone want to get rid of some Fisher-Price or equivalent
    play gym/plastic climbing stuff/slide stuff for outdoor use?
    
    You hopefully know what I mean  - they have a variety of this stuff
    at Toys r Us...some of them are like cubed shaped with cutouts for climbing
    through and some have small slides attached. I've seen them
    at some Dr's offices waiting rooms also. These are not HUGE
    pieces of outdoor structures (usually retail new anywhere from
    $70-150 or so).  I just can't think of what to call them!
    
    This would be for two active toddlers to climb on in the
    spring/summer...
    
    

    Looking for carseats for 20-40lbs. Not to make it a long story
    but since there were a few years between my kids and I lent out
    my 2 car seats 1 that was new and the other I bought here in the 
    notesfile.  When now I need them and they are still being used and
    it has become uncomfortable to get them back.
    
    So....I'm looking for 2 for myself. I don't want to pay a lot
    but I would like a newer model. My daughter has definately outgrown
    her infant seat. What I am familiar with are the Century 3000/5000's,
    I prefer the over the head unit on which the children rests their arms.
    
    Please let me know what you have available. I work in LKG (Littleton)

I want to get the song Christopher Robin(?) sung by Kenny Loggins.  I have
looked in several places and struck out.  Can anyone tell me what the name of
the album is that contains this song?  And where I could probably find it?

    Oh gee.  I have it at home on CD; it's a Loggins & Messina album (brown
    and yellow cover photo %^} ) -I'll check at lunch if no one else can name 
    the album.  It would probably be on a Loggins & Messina "greatest hits"

    children's songs by well-known artists.  I have it in my car and will

    I'm looking for a plastic sandbox (with lid) - any size. I know
    that Little Tykes/Fisher Price makes three models - turtle, crab,
    and dinosaur....something along those lines would be great.

    it, especially now that there's 6 total in the family, so if you have a
    used (preferably Dolly brand) booster seat that straps onto the chair
    (or that can be used alone on the floor) that has an attachable tray 
    table, drop me a not with the description, condition and asking price. 
    They're new aprox. $25.00 so these type of items used usually run 50%
    off in this notes file, less at yard sales, so that's what I'm

    I'm looking for a steamer trunk for my daughter to use at Girl
    Scout camp this summer.  We've all had them in the past -- it's the
    black kind of trunk that you store 2 weeks worth of clothes in and
    can shove under your bunk. I haven't priced them in any stores yet -- I
