Hello all,
I'm quite new to this conference and it's good to see there are
still enough cynics out there to make a person glad they had a misspent
yoof!
But enough reminising(bad grammer a must)Has anyone heard
anything about Vent,Miles Hunt's band of the last year and are they going
to tour(apart from Reading)aswell as if and when the Album is due,or is
indeed worth saving to spend the extortionate prices in my local Our
Price?
Murray.....

Murray,
First have a quick look at notes 1305.4 onwards.
(perhaps a kind mod might shift them into this topic, ta)
Done that?, good.
The new album should be out at the beginning of September, having heard
it I can tell you that it is very good, nice and powerful, losing none
of Mr Hunt's tradional (f)ire, and very well 'recorded' by Mr Albini. The
single 'Fixer' is one of the more accessible songs on the album
(can be heard nightly on Mark Radcliffe).
Their next live date is at the Reading Festival, after that, I don't
know yet.
dickie.
