I havent got the latest TGU cd, its on my list! It only got so-so
reviews though.
Totally into the Natacha Atlas cd tho.

After I saw her at WOMAD I went looking for albums by both her and TGU but
failed to find either (it mwas before 100 Nations), and I still haven't seen
one. Trouble is - which section(s) to look in?

| Ahh...the age old 'which section' query... HMV seems to have gotten
rid of its 'world music' section, and now has her cd under 'dance'.
Thats when they have these things at all...
BUt then it seems to be getting harder to find less mainstream stuff
all round...Warner Brothers just released a new Miles Davis live cd,
and none of the major record stores seem to be getting it in stock,
although I found it in Holland in all sorts of wierd little stores. I
guess I should have gotten it there.

| Yeah - I agree, trouble is that the OP/HMV/Virgin peeps have a
stranglehold in this area. There are a couple of other stores, MVC in
Newbury for instance, but they are not too hot either.

Get yourself up to Green River in Reading. I have not been in much
since the management changed but they are there for the love of music
as much as the love of money. All the minority tastes seem to be
catered for and the slaes they have throw up some real bargains.
