Yes, sad news. I liked all their albums a lot, and I was rather looking
forward to the next one. There's some consolation though, with the
Breeders being quite successful, and Black Francis's new "Frank Black"
project.

| I used to be really into The Pixies but sort of lost touch with them
over the last year or so,this though is indeed bad news.
Can someone just tell me if Trompe de le Monde was their last album.

The Frank Black CD arrived in the post this morning, and since I'm
currently benefitting from an office CD player, I've already given it a
listen. First impressions are favourable. It's rather like the recent
Pixies stuff, but it doesn't quite have the same edge to it. Worth
buying though.
