| Ian, I think it's called, wait for it........"I'm a wonderful
thing." There's another contender for the "Whatever happened to"
Hall of Fame.

I agree with Barry - I also think it's just "I'm a wonderful thing".
RE: Hall of Fame. Kid Creole made an attempt at a comeback last year
sometime. I got the LP, which I can't remember the name of, for four
quid in a sale. It's like the earlier stuff but not quite as good.

They had a hit last year (i think) with "THE SEX OF IT" it was produced
by PRINCE, there last Album was made at Paisley Park Studios (PRINCES
STUDIOS IN MINNEAPOLIS) and a few of the tracks were produced by
him. They toured Britain last year doing two nights at the Town
and Country (coconuts included) Plus the other night I was watching
Against ALL Odds (film starring rachel ward geoff bridges)and Kid
Creole were playing on stage in one of the scenes.......just thought
I would add that..!!!

Just yesterday I saw a new 12" release, called the Anniversary Medley. It
includes four of their best-known songs, plus another one called something
like "A man is a piece of art", or something along that line. B-side
features the whole song.
Sounds like the whole music was re-recorded for most of the medley....
dunno if Kid fans will like it.
What anniversary is it, by the way?

| There is a good Kid Creole compilation, dating from around 1985 or so.
It has all the well known stuff on it, and I think it can be found for
'mid-price' these days (ie, expensive, but not stupidly expensive).
PS - Chart CDs and Tapes are a bit cheaper in Savacentre than Our
Price. Bee Bees still does CDs for 10.49 tho, and does not charge P&P.
Next day delivery also.
