| Well, it's being shown on Channel 4 sometime next week I think....
I can't remember the exact date and time though.

| There was a clip of it on TV-AM this morning, Sinead O'Connor singing
Silent Night while being chased down Oxford Street by Nick Cotton of
East Enders! Also in it are the Happy Mondays, Rebel MC and Tom Jones.
Actually it looked quite good. It's on Christmas day on Channel 4 from
10:00pm to 11:00pm, clashing (slightly) with Top Gun.

| CLashing with Top Gun - is that a problem?
Seriously - The Happy Mondays do a cover of 'Staying Alive' (whilst
being hung), so it should be good for a laugh.

Re .0
Malcolm McLaren is an idiotic little twerp who is so wraped up in his
own persona that he speaks his own language that NOBODY else speaks.
In 'Round Table' the only comments he made were;
"I don't understand"
"Its not dark enough"
"Wheres the wine"
" "
The last being the most common as he paused for dramatic effect, but
due to being an untalented self-indulgent git he failed and simply
ended up looking more dim than a 40 watt lightbulb. He managed to make
Brambles and Mayo intelligent. McLaren failed to understand that the
radio show is to pass comment on music be it bad or otherwise (and to
be truthful it was an awful collection) and not to attempt to publicise
himself to the UK as the saviour of music.
As for 'The Ghost Of Oxford Street' if its anything as trivial and
self-congratulatory as any of his prevoous work then its a dud.
Intresting to note that he has in this 'work' a collection of has-beens
or other people who have mega-egos etc etc rant rant rant wobble

Hi, Jules, seems you don't understand him either! :^)
At first listen it is tempting to think he's just a prat, but I think
he talks a lot of sense. There's so much crap around at the moment that
I can forgive MM his idiosyncracies. I think 'It's not dark enough'
speaks volumes about the twee little ditties churned out on RT last
week, and as for him making Brambles and Mayo sound intelligent, COME
ON! They couldn't sound intelligent in a studio of ameobas! :^)

Well, he is a pillock. He's a pretencious twat. He's an over-bearing,
arrogant, self-important twat. But at least he's interesting.

| Incredible. Not only does the man manage to polarise public opinion,
but he also manages to polarise Paul's spelling. No mean feat.

It's hard to imagine him also writing a screen play about the life
of Peter Grant.
Didn't he and Mickey Most once share an office on Oxford Street?
