Ok, I've got something I've wanted to confess for some time now
and I think now is the time I ought to do it.
I like Lisa Stansfield. There, said it!
This woman seems to have a really great singing voice and chooses (or
has chosen for her?) the right kind of songs (although I'm sure she
could be stretched even more - her voice that is!).
Her new one is not as immediate (read boppy, I guess) as some of her
earlier stuff (even the song that bought her into the limelight showed
signs of her talent - despite the best attempts of the rest of the
'group'), but, to me, sounds better every time I hear it.
Has anyone got her first album or her new one (is it out yet?). If so,
what are they like?

Well I didn't expect universal sympathy for my plight, but don't
pity me too much, I suspect my outburst was brought on by too much
work! :^)

Hey why are you apologising? She has a great voice. Have you got the Red Hot & Blue album? She sings "Down In The Depths" Classic. It's a great album. I even like the U2 track! David | |||||
