  Well, let's see. We got about a foot of white power in Boston. The snow
trucks were out trying to keep the streets opened and everyone asked agreed
that they were sick and tired of the snow.

  Predictions that it would all freeze over in the morning and that car locks
would be frozen proved to be correct.

    I haven't kept up on the show since he moved out-but is is name spelled
    wrong on your note? Isn't it Dougie Howser,MD

    It's Doogie.  I remember because I thought it was one of the stupidest
    names I've seen for a TV show when it came out.  Still can't bring

    Now that we've settled what to call .0, can we please get a response
    providing the desired answers (which may or may not be the requested
    ones)?
    
    In fact, I have now missed two weeks' worth of episodes, so if
    somewould would describe what happened in last night's episode in
    addition to the one that started this whole thing, I would certainly
    appreciate it.

    For what it's worth, "Doogie Howser, M.D." is going on hiatus after
    last night's episode.  Sorry I can't post a synopsis.

    last episode. Doogie goes on the Jennifer Jones talk show with a number
    of geniouses "Child Prodegies, Gifted or Cursed". All the geniouses
    were pretty socially inept except Doogie. They all talk how there 
    gift became their life. One (a violin prodegy) said she practiced and 
    practiced cause if she didn't stay ahead of everyone else the world
    thinks she let them down. Then bedlam erupes as the rest of the
    geniouses chime in. Vinnie is in Doogies condo watching Doogie
    and trying to write his new script. Vinnie is blocked so he cleans the
    whole condo trying to write a single line of dialoge.
       Doogie not wanting to turn into narow focused super geek. Decides
    he better round himself out a bit. So he takes acting lessons with
    Vinnie. Doogie medically anylizes Richard the third and makes a fool
    of himself on stage. The teacher says do a poem next week richard the
    third is a bit much foor him. Vinnie did the same scene and did a 
    outstanding job  with it. Doogie almost quit the class and Vinnie 
    remined him he wasn't in it to be good but to round his personality.
    He also tell Doogie to act well you have to put some of your related
    experience into you acting. They go to class next week a guy goes on 
    infront of Doogie who is awful as bad as Doogie was last week. THe 
    teacher grills Doogie about his poem and sort of put Doogie in the mood
    to read his poem. The poem is about lost youth and at the start Doogie
    is slow and stilted as he was last week then he warms up and does 
    a wonderful read full of regret and rage at a lost youth. 
      Doogie talks with Vinnie and tell him he did the poem so well because
    he really does regret his lost youth and before he losses it completely 
    he is going to enjoy what little he has left. Doogie decides by spinning 
    a globe to go to Rome for an extended holiday maybe a year or more.
    Doogie quits Eastman but the administrator grants him a extended leave 
    of absence. They say good by the adminstrator says Doogie came a boy but 
    is leaving a man. Doogie says goodbye to the rest of the hospital staff.
    as he is leaving an emrgency comes in the guy is in bad shape and may 
    die. Doogie turn back looks for a few second and just keeps walking.
    I really thought it was going to be another hoky come back scene but
    no. Doogie has a hot and steamy scene with his girl friend, The next
    morning they show a plane taking off and then cut to Doogie on board.
    he is typing his diary on a lap top. Guess who is seat next him
    Vinnie. Sick as a dog. He is taking off with Doogie to see the world 
    so when he comes back he will have something to write about. I got
    a call about then and didn't see him finish his diary entry.
