While at the wife's 10 year college reunion in Troy, NY I saw
the most beautiful car. A perfectly restored (or cherry original)
Ford Starliner. American racing wheels, light turquoise metallic
paint, 390 fender flags, 4 speed, and a great exhaust note. God
are those Fords nice looking!

Yes, I drove a lightening the other day. $23,800 for a truck is a bit
much, but what a truck.
the lightening was equiped with a svo 351, 4 speed auto and 410 limited
slip. it also had all of the extras, air, power everything, bucket
seats (not very comfortable - opinion, i like the big bench seat)
17"x 275 tires with special wheels. the truck was very fast, during
normal driving it shifted at 3500, but play time it shifted at 5000.
this truck will definitely surprize the uninformed. i really wanted one
but they offered me 3000 for my truck against theirs at 23,800 and i
said thanks but no thanks. i think that a lt1 powered chevy would be a
good match.
