| Jim,
Always looking for a bargin, I checked out those ads also. In Keyboard
or Electronic Musician. My impression comparing specs and price is that
I could go to any of the local music stores and get a "name" brand
piece of gear with the same specs for about the same amount of cash.
The additional plus side to local purchase, you get to hear/touch
before parting with your cash and you establish a relationship with
the store/salesperson. As you know these relationships can be quite
usefull from time to time........
Anyway...just my opinion...good luck

I think I have their lit pack at home.
Just like others that operate the same way, such as Carvin, you pays
your money, and you takes your chances. Some have money back
guarantees, some don't. The used audio market is a brand name driven
market. Unless a large number of pros have endorsed the product, it's
value is nil until the name gets recognized. This may or may not be an
issue for you.
Pro audio is vastly different from the MI market, in this regard.

| In my never-ending search for the simplest/easiest/smallest/lightest
package that will accomplish what I need, I noticed NiH's powered
mixer with 3-band EQ on each channel, stereo graphic EQ on main
outs, digital delay, and power amp, all in one small package. (I don't
mean to start a separates-versus-whatever here), yet I realize this
"lots of stuff in one package" may come at a cost (I want a do-it-all-
box, perhaps, but not a cheaply-built, lousy-quality one) ...
Just thought I'd see if NiH is recognized by anyone as good vs. bad

| Oh, and also, I realize there are pro's and con's to going "mail-order
versus buy local", I've thought about that plenty - and read the notes
on that here. So, I don't intend to re-open the mail order vs. buy
local issue here either ...
