    Details:

    Ada MP-1 Tube Guitar Preamp with MC-1 foot pedal/cable.  asking $475

    This is a 2-tube (12AX7) tube preamp from which the user can select
    among 2 channels (clean and overdrive).  A third choice is included: a
    solid state circuit for that kind of sound as well.  It's a 1 rack-space
    preamp with mono input and pseudo-stereo ouputs (but can be used in Mono
    mode).  There are controls for gain on each of the 2 stages (1 stage per
    tube), treble, mid, bass, presence, and stereo chorus depth/rate
    controls.  Each of these controls is "memorized" in a patch.  There are
    128 patches and the patches can be called up via MIDI.  Additionally,
    the foot pedal unit gives you the ability to select patches with your
    feet.  There is also a headphone output for quiet practicing.  Oh yes,
    the unit also comes with brand new (less than 10 hours playing time)
    Mesa Boogie extra-quiet SP12AX7 (or whatever they're called) and the
    original Yugoslavian 12AX7s that still work just fine.


    Schecter Strat-style guitar (black).  asking $425.

    From the Schecter pro-line of mid-80s (when Andy Taylor of Power
    Station was an endorsee as I recall).  Purchased new in 86 or so (I'll
    check the invoice) and has never been played out so it is in perfect
    condition.  In fact, I just took the clear plastic pick guard protector
    off last year.  The body shape is like a Strat.  The neck is a nicely
    finished maple neck with an ebony fingerboard.  There are 3 pickups:
    single-coil for the neck and middle; the bridge is a humbucker that can
    be tapped to a Strat-ish single-coil by pulling out the tone control
    knob.  Controls are volume and tone (which doubles as the push/pull
    coil-splitter switch).  Kahler locking nut uses a locking pivot (no
    allen wrench required).  Stays in tune very well.  Hardware is `black
    chrome'.  Front of headstock is black to match the body.  A very
    versatile, nice-sounding guitar.  All setup, maintenance, and locking
    nut installation done by Rich MacDuff at his shop (where this guitar was
    purchased new for $625 way back when).


    Les Paul Triumph Bass (aka "Recording Bass").  asking $250.

    From the late 70s (I think).  Maroon (dark red/wine?) color.  Small-ish
    size but it is quite heavy.  A medium scale (~32 inches, I think) bass
    than resembles the Les Paul Recording guitar (thus, the misnomer Les
    Paul Recording Bass).  It's a nice bass for guitar players (or smaller
    hands) since the scale length is closer to than of a guitar than the
    usual 34" scale.  I bought it used in good condition and it has stayed
    that way. 2 pickups with selector, bass, treble, and some other switches
    (e.g., in/out of phase) for alternate sounds.  With hardshell case (that
    is a bit more `used' than the bass but still usable).

  I was already throwing in a custom wooden rack case, and switch pedal and
  $100 worth of disks.  I'll also throw in an Ensoniq volume pedal and some

    Ensoniq Mirage sampling keyboard - $350

    Nice velocity sensitive keyboard with sampled sounds (piano(s),
    strings, flute, percussion, etc.). Original Mirage with metal case,
    includes several (6 or 8?) factory sample disks, MASOS os, disk
    formatter, sequencer expander. In excellent shape, recently
    overhauled, new motherboard, new power supply, disk drive
    cleaned/aligned. I imagine most folks here know what a Mirage is,

	- "Auto-Score" from a sequencer song file (EZ-Track, EZ-Track Plus,
	  Sync-Track, etc.), then edit. Or, create a score using the
	  mouse, computer keyboard, or MIDI keyboard.

	- Choose between three staves, in four score formats: solo, piano,
	  piano/vocal, or trio. Amount of space is variable between staves
	  to allow for mulitiple verses of lyrics or for music with many
	  ledger lines.

	- EZ-Score files are upwardly compatible to all future versions
	  of Midi-Score.

	- Over 140 symbols: notes, rests, accidentals, clefs, rehearsal

  Well what a prediction!

  K1000SE keyboard - 76 keys, monophonic aftertouch, sample playback synth.
  (for more info check the topic on the 1000PX and others)
  Price history is something like this:  new they listed for ~$2600,
  KNA, which was the company that just had the final "liquidation" of K-stuff,
  followed by the auction (also discussed in the 1000PX topic) was asking
  $1150 for them.  In the Want-Ads recently I've seen them for around $1400.

  I'm asking $1000 even.  This one is practically new, both cosmetically and
  internally, with all the accesories, packaging, etc.

  K1000AX PLUS - rackmount "Acoustic eXpander" - basically the equivalent
  of the 1000SX (Strings) combined with a 1000HX (Horns), except you only
  get the polophony of one unit.  Again, these were over $2000 new, 
  I'm asking $700.  This one is also practically new.

  Note 1:  I may be willing to work out a trade with someone who has a 1000PX

   Roland D-50 L/A-synthesis synth for sale.  Quite literally in *brand-new*
condition; it never left the house.  Includes three Roland (ROM) sound cards
cards (64 patches each) and one M256 (RAM) memory card.  I also have all the
original manuals and programming placards.

   The  D-50 seemed to be a studio and performance standard for  many years,
and  can  be  heard  on  countless  albums  and  television  advertisements.

        The PC board was professionally laid out, I think it
