And a knife weilding intruder made it into 24 Sussex Dr. (The Canadian
PM's residence). We could easily be looking at a another election.
Interesting that it took police over 10 minutes to respond to
the PM's residence. It says alot about security at 24 Sussex, and
makes you wonder what type of response you would get for the
same call for help from you or I.
Like they say, call police or call Pizza Pizza. See who shows up
first.
Out here in Kanata, the latest battle is that there is far more
money spent on seat belt blitzes than neighborhood patrols, even
though we have a 95% compliance rate for belting up.
We need a security and law enforcement shakeup.

Like Saddat before him, he was sentenced to death for advancing
the cause of peace. His accomplishment is astonishing considering
the complexities behind Israeli/Palestinian relations.
Like a Martin Luther King, the world has lost another good soul.

| I don't think tight security matters anymore for todays politicians
coz. your own guard could betray you,if the $ is good.

A guy on the CBC said yesterday that the PM should seriously
consider getting real professionals to watch him.....mall security
guards....complete with grade 10 mustaches, blue polyester jackets, and
wired on enough cheap K-Mart coffee to arrest the entire parliament in 10
minutes flat.....unarmed and unafraid, they never sleep, and work for
minimum wage.
Hmmmm....
