Apparently it is true. He is to be VP of Operations for the ABU (of the
Computer Systems Division, reporting to Vincenzo Damiani,
effective 1 Jan 1995.

| This seems to add creedence to the persistant rumour that Digital
Equipment of Canada will be 'NAFTA-ized' i.e. what remains of the
distict corporate infrastructure of a subsiuary will go, we will be
completely integrated into corporate. Just a rumour, don't blame me if
it ain't true.

| Given the bent towards the "office of the future", maybe we can
'moth-ball' RL's office, have the money come out of the corporate
coffers and save some of the inexpensive remote office floorspace!
