Hi,
I'll be visiting Toronto for the first time flying in on 3rd September.
Can anyone recommend the best places to visit ..... what's the weather
like that time of year.... and any particular places which we should
avoid day/night.
Please reply either here or to GILL FORSTER @OLO or WOTVAX::FORSTERG
Thanks in advance for any help ......
Gill

The CNE will be on then (the fair), but it's an acquired taste.
Weather should be good.
Depends on your interests. Mention a few, and we can give some
pointers, and then go down some ratholes.
There are not too many areas I would say avoid, certainly none that
tourists visit, but be cautious, this is NOT the same city it was.
Traffic can real bad, depending on the situation (Jays game, road work,
etc.).

Just a few lines to say Many Thanks to everyone who replied/phoned to
my request.
We had an absolutely fabulous time, I'll not chatter here about where
we went etc. We ended up staying at the Chestnut Park Hotel in
Toronto on the 22nd Floor facing the Digital Building....just what I
needed to be reminded of on my vacation !
Toronto is a great place to be, even if the Blue Jays were not playing
(we were looking forward to seeing a match) and Niagara Falls -
beautiful & breath taking.
I'll certainly be making another visit in the future, and would love to
live there.
Many thanks,
Gill
