| Seems like you few are the only one's able to access this
system. There have been problems the last couple of days
and everyone seems to be asking about the file. Guess I'm
one of the fortunate ones that can get in once in awhile
too.
Nice meeting you here. Will let others know some of us
found the path.

| DECnet node HYDRA, on which DEJAVU currently resides, was physically
moved. This took several days. Since HYDRA has changed node numbers
(which is what is really used to reach a system on DECNET -- the names
are put in tables from which the correct number is looked up) people
still will not be able to access it until their systems DECNET node
table is updated (unless they know the incantation to by-pass the
table). Eventually, everyone should find DEJAVU in its new home,
without things actually looking any different to them.

1757.5 | What happened to me. | JULIET::CANTONI_MI | ERROR: User Intelligence Underflow | Thu Nov 05 1992 17:40 | 9 |
| I haven't had any prblems accessing this file until this morning. When
I tried to open DEJAVU, I was successful, sort of. It said that
BOMBE::DEJAVU had not entries, or something like that. Since I didn't
remember DEJAVU being on BOMBE, I looked it up, then modified the entry
to HYDRA. Haven't had any problems since.
Is this what should have happened, or is it some unrelated problem?

Actually, those of us who haven't been participating actively were
all abducted by aliens, and are just getting back.

much more suitable.

| re .8 As far as the US is concerned, yes. All non-US citizens
are officially classified as "aliens" (it says so on my
green card).

| Correct. However where I sit now I am not exactly a full alien, as I am
a citizen of the EC, living in the EC, but not in my native country.
Being a member of the EC gives you certain rights in all other member
countries which are not extended to full aliens.
