This is VAXNOTES!!!!!!!!!

List your node::username

Don't leave Internet address interpretation up to the readership.

Transfer your mail from your dormant VAXmail account to your own Internet
account if you don't want to use VAXmail.

If you want to include your Internet address, fine. ...BUT IT MUST BE IN
ADDITION TO YOUR VMS NODE::USERNAME.

Too many internet mail messages are being returned as undeliverable.
2.24EAC Ticket sales policyNASEAM::READIOA Smith & Wesson beats four aces, Tow trucks beat Chapman LocksWed Feb 05 1997 12:4313
EMPLOYEE INTEREST ACTIVITIES... Activities such as hikes, outings,
ski trips should be posted using the REPLY command to Note 10. Please
keep in mind that ticket sales are NOT permitted and the ad should
ONLY contain information about the activity, ie; date(s), time(s)
      and location(s).

Corporate/site EAC sponsored activities may offer tickets for sale. this is
the *ONLY* exception to the ticket sale restriction. If you are not acting
in behalf on a recognized EAC, do not post group ticket sale ads.

EAC ads will contain, in the first three lines, the name, node and DTN of
the person entering the ad.
2.25Elmo vs. baseball cardsNASEAM::READIOA Smith & Wesson beats four aces, Tow trucks beat Chapman LocksWed Feb 05 1997 16:0120
Let's clarify an issue

If you go out and buy an item that's in high demand (i.e. last Xmas's Elmo)
and attempt to sell it at a profit through CLASSIFIED_ADS, your ad will be
deleted.

If you're selling old Barbie Dolls, fine china, rare coins, etc. that have
appreciated in value, the mere fact that your asking price is considerably
higher than the original selling price of the items will *NOT* get your ad
deleted.

Selling collectibles at or below current market value is *NOT* the same as
buying a currently available product off the shelf and gouging the public
simply because you have one of the few available for sale.

Reselling a currently available, high demand, limited supply item at a
grossly inflated price is the same as ticket scalping and, like those folks
from Las Vegas that were arrested at Foxboro and prohibited from buying
Super Bowl tickets, you will be prohibited from selling that product
on this conference.
2.2NO VARIATIONS OF THIS GUIDELINE WILL BE ACCEPTEDNASEAM::READIOA Smith & Wesson beats four aces, Tow trucks beat Chapman LocksTue Feb 11 1997 13:5222
THE FIRST 3 LINES of all ads WILL include the AUTHORS Name, VMSNode (not
UNIX node, not all-in-one address, not Exchange address, not Internet
   address) and DTN.

[] See Note 2.1 for the singular accepted format.

[] If the ad is being posted for a DIGITAL EMPLOYEE other than yourself,
their similar information WILL ACCOMPANY YOURS.

[] Ads posted for relatives will include their FULL name (first and last),
area code+phone number, city, state and their relation to you and
WILL ACCOMPANY YOUR business information. (See Note 2.1)

[] PP&P defines a family member as parent, spouse, child, sibling,
stepparent, foster parent, guardian, in-law, grandchild or grandparent.
No ads for "friends, cousins, nephews, aunts or uncles" will be
      permitted.

NO VARIATIONS OF THIS GUIDELINE WILL BE ACCEPTED.
