Hi,

One of my customer face the same problem reported on entry #3046 of this
conference.  "Compile ACCVIO with v2.3 using Function Char on AXP VMS ".

On the last reply ".3", it tell us that there is a DEC COBOL bug fix kit
will be available on the network.  I think it should be V2.3-827.

Where can I find that kit?

    See CLT::DEC_COBOL_IFT notes 2.47 and 2.51.  Both the V2.3-831 and
    V2.4-863 kits include this fix.  We made 4 additional fixes before we
    built that final V2.3 bug fix kit - there was no V2.3-827 kit.
