Pick up: Nashua or ZKO
I have a radiator from a 1988 Volvo 740 available. This one has a slight leak
between the plastic tank and the core. The leak only shows up when the
weather turns cold. Someone could probably crimp the metal fingers holding
the tank and get it to seal. If anyone wants it, speak up Monday or it's
going out in the trash Tuesday. You can get it either off exit 6 in Nashua
or at ZKO.

1990 model purchased late. This is a very reliable car that has done
only 58,000 miles. All features and options are functional. Full
service history with Subaru dealerships. 60,000 mile service was
performed recently at 6 years (56,000 miles approx).
The only problem that I have had is the one that you'll see noted in
Consumer Reports - brakes. However, at the 60,000 service new rotors
and pads were installed all round. As with any 7 year old car, it will
probably need a new exhaust in the next year or so, but has no current
problems.
There is some very minor body rust and I have a verbal quote for $200
for repairs. Otherwise, inside and out it is in average condition for
age, clean and serviceable. This has been factored into the asking
price.

This is probably a long shot, but what the heck.
I caught the tail end of a Classic Auto/Hot Rod
show on TNN this past Saturday, I believe it was
called "My Classic Car" or some such. The show ran
in the early afternoon somewhere from 1:00-2:00pm.
The show was focused entirely on the AMX's and Javelins.
Did anyone happen to tape it? My father is a bit of
an AMX aficionado and I know he would really enjoy
seeing the show.
I'd love to borrow it to make a copy, or make other
arrangements to get a copy of it.

TV and Hot Rod TV. They're all on TNN every Sunday afternoon
when I'm usually not home. I set the recorder and watch them
later. I looked last night and I have the Javelin show on tape.

bring it in tomorrow and put it in the mail.

I have a very nice 1931 Deluxe Roadster for sale. Its a very nice driver
that would take only a fresh paint job to make it a show car. I have owned
this
car for about 7 years and now that the kids are in college I need to sell it.
Its an original car that had a frame off restoration done to it about 35 years
ago; it now has about 3500 miles on it. It runs great, no oil loss of any
kind.
The engine was detailed about 3 years ago. Its top, side curtains and leather
interior are by LeBron Bonney. Its washington blue with cream wheels, has a
rumble seat and the spare tire is mounted in the back. I have a recent
appraisal for $17,000 which establishes its value and will provide all the
necessary papers a bank would need to make a loan on it. I want to turn
this over quickly and will accept any reasonable offer. The car is
located in Salem, New Hampshire and can be seen at your convenience.

WANTED -- 15" wheels
Looking for a set of 4 15" aluminum wheels for my 91 Crown Vic. They do not
have to be in mint condition. Could also be persuaded to buy second hand
all season tires with the set if already mounted, provided they have 25Kmi+
left on them. Also, these wheels do not have to be stock Ford. Ideally these
would be medium worn quality wheels.

| Near my house in Worcester, there is a late 60's or early 70's
Roadrunner for sale. It is bright orange with stripes that go
across the trunklid and up the sides. It has original factory
wheels, *Poli-glass* tires, and 383. The car appears to be
100% original and MINT!
What is the value of this "blast from the past"?

ps: 2 nights ago, there was a coyote in my back yard hootin' and
hollerin' at 4:00am. I wonder if he's got his eye on the road-
runner too! I didn't see any boxes with "ACME explosives" written
on the side.

| The stripe goes across the rear deck (the panel between the trunk and
rear window) and is a black broken line. The line ends on the quarter
panel with the road-runner decal. There is also a round decal on the
trunk lid with the road-runner symbol.
The front grill is recessed with exposed headlamps. There is also
a smaller grill below the bumper.
Not being an expert, I still believe the car is an original
Road-Runner. It appears to be ~1969 vintage. My father had a
1969 Plymouth Fury and this car appears to be from the same era.

'68 and '69 Road Runners don't have any stripes. Only the GTX had a stripe
and that one went from the front wheel arch to midway back on the rear
quarter. I oughta know, I still own mine.
The Super Bee had black bands around the decklid and quarters.
Seventies Road Runners had a dashed line (that was a bit tilted, if I
recall) around the back.

| I spoke with the owner of the Road-runner this weekend. The car is
a '71 and has been completely restored. All numbers match.
He is asking $22K for it. From what I gather, the price is firm.
This car probably sold new for about $5k.

This is a 1987 smoke silver Mercedes 190 16 valve. The car has only
been onthe road for one winter and is in excellent condition. There
where 2000 of these cars made for the US market, many more for the
European market. The car uses off the shelf parts so there is no
problem getting parts.
These cars where built by Mercedes as road rally cars. They have a
top speed of 143 mph and set several speed endurance records when they
came out in 86 and 87.
The car has an inverted shift pattern 5 speed, power seats,locks, and
windows. Comes with the factory installed rally gauges including a
built in stop watch and factory installed body molding. This is a very
quick car with amazing handling. The brakes are very large and as a
result the car uses the 300 series wheels to fit them. The tires are
55 series all the way around.
The car has all of the options available at the time minus the heated
seats and has a black leather interior.
This car resembles a standard 190 in appearance only.
The car has 81,000 miles.
Asking price is $14,500
