    Two thumbs up for the Royal Coachman Resort on Laurel Rd in Nokomis
    Fla. (just north of Venice and 20 min south of Sarasota.)  1.5 miles
    to a good beach and many excellent gulf beaches within a few mins.
    (on a waterway for canoeing, boating, etc. with water access to the
    intracoastal waterway)
    
    Very good facilities overall, except for the lack of a camp store
    and propane exchange onsite.  However, these facilities are 5 mins
    away.
    
    The whole site is very well maintained - better facilities than at Fort
    Wilderness at less than half the price.
     
    Facilities:
    
    Very good pool, sunning and barbie area (under cover and open)
    
    Big playground for the kids - a summer day camp runs on the
    weekend and additional activities are organized.
    
    Indoor games room and well-equipped gymnasium
    
    Horseshoe pits, volleyball courts, mini baseball diamond
    tennis courts, miniture golf
    
    Sites are mostly grass on sand, well-drained.  A few concrete
    pads,  Full hook up (inc cable) was $28 per night in April for
    all facilities.   
    
    Without doubt, one of the best sites I've ever used and it made for
    an excellent "rest week" after four days at Disney.   The only problem
    we encountered was fire ants, but the maintenance crew sprayed the nest
    a couple of hours after we reported it.

    We stayed at Angle Pond Grove in East Hampstead, NH this past weekend.
    Our point for going was to go to Canobie Lake Park.    
    
    Nice place.  Not too much going on as it was early in the season.  This
    was their opening weekend.  They did have lots of seasonals. They have a
    beautiful beach and a playground for the kids.  There is a rec hall
    with a small store, arcade games, pool tables, and ping-pong tables. 
    The sites seemed to be close with no privacy in between.  We weren't
    there for the day so it didn't matter to us. 
    
    We did speak with one of the seasonal people who said that there is
    constantly a breeze off the lake.  May be ok in the hot summer, but the
    weekend we were there, it was cold. 
    
    They are about 15 minutes from Canobie Lake Park and 20 minutes from
    route 93.  The price only $16.00 for 2 adults and an extra $1.00 for
    kids under 12.
