    re. 715.10

    Harry,

I know the subject's old but here goes... not all petroleum or
crued oils have wax (paraffin) in them.

The phenomenon of paraffin in the molecular structure of crude in the
US is relatively unique to Pennsylvania. Thus the oils which still
utilize even a portion of Pa. crude in them contain paraffin...
(candle wax) the others do NOT.

What makes Pa. oil different? Their oil fields lie in coal-rich
regions (what we refine paraffin from) and other oil fields do not.

Nuff said...ANY oil pumped out of Pa. has this unique twist to it's
molecular structure which others do not.
