Hello there-

My name is Dave Todd. Work at HLO in Hudson, MA in Equipment
Engineering group. Did my first jump just a couple months back in the fall of
'96. Definitely a blast. Loved every moment of it and can't wait to get back
this spring. I don't know alot of the jargon you guys are spoutin', but hope-
fully someone will dedicate a note for things like that. What I do know is
this:

Jumped out of a place in Northampton, Mass called Aviation Adventures
(or something close to that). Met this guy named 'Bud' (a nickname for Dave
I was told, don't know why). Bud was my partner for my tandem jump. We went
to 8k feet and did a barrel roll from the plane, freefall for about 30-40
seconds and then had a blast cruising the skies yanking the canopy into some
serious spirals enough to make your stomach feel like the days of old in the
back of dad's station wagon going over those swooping bumps on back country
roads. What an incredible feeling. Pulled off a perfect landing right on
target and walked right out of it!! I was definitely psyched.

So here I am now. Tasted the sweet stuff and aching to get back.
I'm looking forward to some good conversation and educational insight through
you fine folks. Also looking forward to many jumps and making some new friends
that are also interested in this awesome sport.

    Hi Dave

Good to see some new blood and interest in this notesfile and in the
sport. I hope you have a chance to make many jumps.

After many years of looking up, I taken my first step to look down. I've
gone through with AFF course in March 97'. This will be my last first, if not
then the CoB can be located at Skydive Lebanon. I have a brother and a sister
in the business. Both are JM and pilots. Sister is a RM.
