Our customer would like to interconnect 100Mbps FDDI and 10 Mbps Ethernet.
And they prefer to use GIGAswitch for FDDI and DEChub900 for Ethernet.
To interconnect GIGA and hub900, DECconcentrator900MX(900MX) may be needed,
and it is released on 15-NOV-93. But I am not sure if it is possible, and if
possible how it works in the following config.:
FDDI Ethernet
GIGAswitch ------------------- DEChub900 ---------------------
(900MX) (90C)
Could someone tell me if above config is right or if there is alternatives ?

The DEChub900 _does_not_ provide any bridging or routing functions, and
the DECconcentrator900MX is an FDDI concentrator; it does not provide
any connection to Ethernet.
To interconnect the FDDI and Ethernet in the hub, you need the WGE200
(sorry, I don't know the external name for it); availability is planned
for the same time as the DECconcentrator900MX. If all you want is to
connect the hub Ethernet(s) to the switch via FDDI, then the WGE200 is
all you need (not the concentrator), since it has front panel FDDI that
is bridged to backplane ethernet.

correct - you need a 10/100 (Ethernet to FDDI) bridge. Either the
DECbridge 500/600 or the new WGE200 for the DEChub 900 is suitable
devices for this configuration. The DECconcnetrator 900MX (DEF6X)
allows connections directly to FDDI (systems, devices, etc)
