Does anyone know of a third party product that conforms to the HP OpenView that incorporates the MIBS, etc for our hub products? I have a customer who uses OpenView for their net management and would like to install our hub products and manage them from Openview. I've read note 25 about our plans for development but I'm looking for a third party solution if their is one out there. Any advice appreciated. Dan

425.2 | Can they compile the MIBs on OpenView? | NAC::FORREST | Wed Nov 03 1993 18:20 | 14 | |
Please be specific when you are talking about OpenView whether you mean the Unix or the Windows product, since they are different, and we have different plans regarding the two. We do have some plans in this area; send me mail for more info. If the customer is willing to manage the hubs just using compiled MIBs, then they can get our MIBs off the Internet at Gatekeeper.DEC.COM Or you can get them off, put them on a floppy and give the floppy to the customer. I hope to have a diskette with the MIBs available to customers who request it via the Sales Support channels. |
