The hottest tickets in town are "Art" at Wyndham's, "Ivanov" at the
Almeida, and "Guys and Dolls" at the National. Check
    http://www.londontheatre.co.uk/online/index.html
for all the details on these and other shows, and how to call
the box office and order tickets. I just checked the web site,
and it's up and running as always.

Be warned that "Ivanov" is for all intents sold-out for the run,
but day release tickets go on sale at 10am each morning at the
theatre. "Art" will have a cast change before you go, but replacing
Finney and Courtenay will be Anton Lesser and David Haig, both
of whom are wonderful on stage. I'd go see it again to see these
    guys.

Also recommended are "The White Devil" at the RSC and "The Cripple
of Inishmaan" at the National. These are in repertory, and have
been selling out, so you should call for tickets in advance if
    you are interested in them.

Finally, if you want to take a trip out of the center, "Hamlet"
starring Michael Maloney has been well reviewed and will be at
the Richmond and the Arnaud (Guilford) while you are over. Can't
remember the schedules off the top of my head.
