Note 416.23 The Founding Fathers 23 of 23
ICS::EWING                                           14 lines  11-MAY-1995 14:35
                                -< May Day!!! >-
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Question? Could there have been an international conspiracy where some
of the founding fathers who were of course state representatives that
grafted the US Constitution? The reason why I asked, is because there
is no documented proof that the people called for these representatives
to convene in Philadelphia to amend and/or nullify the Articles of Con-
federations. It seems to me these men known as the Founding Fathers
took it upon themselves to engineer what we call today the Supreme
law of the land. If this is true, then it is likely that covert
operations were being carried out for power elite members of
secret societies. Recall, the Illuminiti was established on
May 1, 1776, just prior to the Declaration of Independence.
I think that there is a possible connection.

By the way, if we're going to refight the War of the Rebellion,
right here in the 'Box (and why not, we've done everything else !),
we couldn't be more apropos. The US Postal Service has just issued
a full series of Civil War comemorative 32 cent stamps, of that
era's great people and events, from both sections : Lincoln, Lee,
Sherman, Jeff Davis, Gettysburg, etc. "Once divided, now perforated"
     opines the wallposter of them.

As you can tell, I'm personally an unreprentent Yankee, who would
have marched with Sherman to the sea, given the chance. However, as
the men of each section were, I'd have been surprised at the very
brave fight the other side was willing to put up, over matters of
     moral difference.

The clue which lead me to believe it is Soapbox was the (tm). Over in
the box, some of the participants (tm) phrases or words they use and

Soapbox is like the city where Obe Juan and Luke met Hans Solo and

Really? I always thought it was Han. Oh well...

As for "Obe Juan", I like that spelling better. Sounds like a
character that Desi Arnaz or Ricardo Montalban could have played,
which certainly would have given "Star Wars" a different spin.

The spell-checker doesn't pick it up when I type something

    by touch typing so fast.

My most frequent error is to type 'probably' when I mean

    RE: .707 Mark Levesque

/ Nothing new, just the same rehashed BS ...

You should have used this as the title of your note, Mark.

Well, I didn't really expect you to be willing to engage in a good
one-on-one fair fight. It's not your style (and never has been.)

You are truly the consummate coward. You can only engage in a brawl
when the person you are fighting is vastly outnumbered. Otherwise,
you are nothing more than a sniveling worm.

I see that you are still using the reference to violent rape in your
personal name. How telling that you chose to use it while you engaged
in a lengthy "raking over the coals" (to use your phrase) of a solitary
female while high-fiving it to the gang of men you kept nearby to support
you. They did a bit of their own "raking" at the same time you were
    doing yours, of course.

The phrase "squeal like the pig you are" is a real window into your
character and attitude (as much as the "75 Reasons Why Bitches Should
Not Have Free Speech" was a window into those Cornell freshmen's
attitudes.) Then again, they're just kids - and they've apologized.
    You're an adult - so you're a full-blown <blank>hole with little hope
    of changing.

If you ever work up the courage to get into a fair fight with me,
I'm ready for it. I've already offered some suggestions for ground
rules (including a provision which gives BOTH PEOPLE a guarantee of
receiving precisely HALF of the two 'last words' possible in the
two debate phases: the argument phase and the conclusion phase.
The order of 'last words' is also set to be determined by a flip of
a coin.) You talk about 'last words' every time we speak, so it's
obviously an important part of your life. I set it up to make this
matter PERFECTLY FAIR to both people, so that you would have nothing
    to cry about later.

Unfortunately, you decided to cry before we ever got to the fair fight
in the first place, so these rules stand only as a monument to your fear.

I also set it up so that neither person could insult the other or
make personal comments, and BOTH people would have to stand alone.
A pretty frightening prospect for you, obviously. In fact, it's
    downright impossible for you.

If you ever do decide that you are enough of a man to engage me in
a fair fight, you know where to find me. I'll be waiting.

Don't even THINK about coming at me in another one of these gang brawls
until you are willing to face me ONE-ON-ONE, though.

I'll keep the fair fight suggestions handy in the meantime. If you
ever get the balls to face me on your own, I'll be there.

    Mark Levesque,

Thank you for making my challenge to you a permanent part of this
    version of the 'Box.

It stands as a monument to your utter and complete cowardice.

If you ever find the guts to face me one-on-one, I'll be waiting.

    Brian,

We have become a paranoid society. The sensitivity crowd has retarded
the common sense of the country. We are incapable of having any
backbone or expressing our feelings in a way to curb bad race
relations. So in a sense, yes, I do blame the sensitivity crowd for
manipulating free thinking in this country.

Jack, this statement speaks volumes of your view, and how bad it is.

| We are incapable of having any backbone or expressing our feelings in a way
| to curb bad race relations.

I think it was that backbone that caused bad race relations. It takes a
different kind of backbone to be willing to make repairs. But you can't see
that, and it doesn't look like it will change anytime soon.

"Murder" is also an ethical term. Further, you know the intent of my
words, that I mean it is wrong to kill an innocent person. We are not
discussing what is or is not legal, so there is no reason to put a
    legal interpretation on the words.

Jim.... I think it is because most people relate Christian people with
the most vocal. The Pat Robertson's of the world. So people just don't give a
damn. Yet you have to admit that even with all the hype about Ellen, Touched by
an Angel does much better in the ratings. :-)

If people want change, then they gotta do something about it. To *me*,
you are doing something about it just by being you. You're not holier than
thou, and you freely admit that. There are others who don't.

If someone were to come out 30 years ago.... it never would be shown.
If someone became a Christian 30 years ago, it would probably have made the
news. I think the vocal Christians have swung the pangolin around the other way
for those who they are against, and against themselves. jmnsho

ONe year before the OKC bombing, McVeigh was a peaceful protester at
Waco, Texas, handing out leaflets, trying to bring about the end of the
    seige.

    Then the tanks rolled in.

A lot of Americans died, their right to due process totally
disregarded; a lot of kids burned to death, and no one in Washington
lost their job or got penalized at all.

Peaceful protester McVeigh went into "action mode", and became a
    "political terrorist."

I doubt he'll escape the death penalty, and I don't know that he
should, but I'm dismayed that every night on the news one still hears
people asking, "why did he do it?"

Credibility? Come on! It was a general converstation, not a scientific

1812 being fought in 1795 doesn't change the fact that the war actually
