749.0. "WISH LIST" by BINKLY::MINARDI (Juice Crew... Dept. of Energy!) Wed Jan 23 1991 17:27

Don't you always have a wish-to-buy list for music?
I always have a list of like 10 tapes to buy, which I totally
forget once I'm in the record store.
This is a place where you can keep track of all the music
purchases you'd like to make, pi$$ and moan about not having
the cash for them yet, and generally get sympathy and abuse
(depending on whether they include JBJ or not) ;^)

I seem to remember reading an article about this in Metal Hammer or
Keraang some while back. It was an interview with Larsen who was
talking about it as a pet project, something he had always wanted to
do. There were one or two ommissions from his list as either the band
or the record company would not give permission for the material to be
used. Can't remember which bands they were, but will have a look this
weekend. Glad that it has finally seen the light of day as it is
    definitely on my shopping list!

I`ve got the album - and yeah,it`s definately worth the purchase.

Some of the songs sound a bit dated, but so what. It`s got that
distinctly British "denim and leather bought us all together" type
sound. No slick L.A. produced sounds here.

My wish: I wish I didn't have to do this.

Friday will be my last day. There is no way I could possibly leave
without saying a special goodbye to the people of this notesfile. I've
been a member since just about the begining. I've seen others come and
go. I thought I'd always be here, but I was wrong. This file was not
only useful in gathering information about bands and music, it's part
of my social life as well. I've never been one for parties and such,
so I haven't met a whole lot of you, but noting with the people here is
almost as good. I feel like I have a ton of friends here, even though I
don't know what half of you even look like! This file as also helped
me keep my youth! You're as young as you feel, and I feel no older
than the majority of the people in here. Well, I don't know what else
to say, really. It's been fun, and maybe I'll run into some of you
    on the "outside".

Take care everyone. I wish you all well, my friends.
