    SUBJECT:  ARCHIVE ALL Results in Loss of File Logging Function
    
    VERSION:  PCM V1.6-201 (ECO 2) on VMS V6.1
    
    PROBLEM:  Execution of the ARCHIVE ALL /KEEP=72 results in no further
    logging of console data to files.  This problem appears to be unrelated
    to the /KEEP switch.
    
    ANALYSIS:  The CX3PCM system at CXO3 is archived each night at
    midnight.  As a result of executing the ARCHIVE ALL command, no further
    log data is placed on the logging files.
    
    WORKAROUND:  Shut down the console manager and restart:
    
    	$ CONSOLE SHUT
    	$ SUBMIT /USER=SYSTEM SYS$SYSTEM:CONSOLE$STARTUP
