Winchester Street is the pedestrianised bit that leads west from
the 'Old Market Square' to the traffic lights. Winchester Road
is the continuation of this westward.

882.3Has anyone ate there yet?KERNEL::WOODCOCKThu Dec 07 1995 09:508
Has anyone actually got this this Balti house yet?

BECAUSE we (what's left of the printer group) were thinking of going
    tonight.

That's the Agra Balti right?

Used to be the Romna or some such?

Isn't really a Balti house, just picking up on the fashion and changing the
restaurant name I think.....

Still I enjoyed it the time I went there, but it was after the pub

(to rate my approval of curry houses I will never go to the paradise
again having been sick after eatnig there but like the Kashmir and
the Spice).

The Kashmir does an excellent free delivery service, the best dish on
the menu is Patia (Pershian dish).

    Fabulous!!!!

I think the Curry Paradise has changed hands again. It's new name
is.....can't remember...but NOT the Basingstoke Tandoori.

    Hi,

If you like meat dishes go for the Tandoori Mixed Grill in the Kashmir,
you get a platefull of Chiken Tandoori, Chicken Tikka, Lamb Tandoori,
Sheek kebab etc. with Nann bread and a small side salad.

    Excellent pig out.

Last night I had a tandoori chicken jalfrazi.

It was very nice actually, from the Indian Ocean,
Wokingham Rd, Reading.
