| | Depending on what you want done, try your local dry cleaners.
    I believe Sketchley do a fair amount of alteration work.

| | Chesterfields in Winchester street are OK, I used them to have some
    alterations made to suit a while back. Good Service and good results.

|  |     Derek,

    eat more (or less) as required. It's a lot more fun than having
    your clothes adjusted and cheaper too, if it's less that you require!

| 245.4 | That's it. Eat more. | CURRNT::GARSON |  | Wed Dec 20 1989 17:40 | 6 |
| | Unfortunately, it would be eating *more* that is required. I bought
    the clothes in question soon after returning from an extended (and
    extending) visit to Italy.

    I was hoping it would be more economical to have the clothes adjusted
    :-).

| 245.6 | Went to Sketchleys | CURRNT::GARSON |  | Fri Jan 05 1990 18:16 | 6 |
| | I had already had the work done before reading .-1 unfortunately.

    I went to Sketchleys. They charged 5.65 for a trouser length
    adjustment. The results seemed OK. However, they insisted on dry
    cleaning the trousers as well for an extra 2.85 (total 8.50).
    As it happens the trousers were seriously in need of a clean anyway.
