| | RE: .0 I believe the re-opening has been delayed a week or two. It
is planned to re-open in MLO5 soon though. The entry in VTX shows
DOOVAX::PDCSTORE or PDC Employee Store @ DOO as mail addresses. Did
    you try sending mail?

| | Moving to the Mill, eh? And with the Mill shutting down, I wonder ...
Will they also offer genuine Digital sand-blasted souvenir bricks,
lacquered planks, tastefully preserved Mill spiders and centipedes,
and electronic treasures from the Mill pond? ;^)

PDC= Property Disposal Center or somesuch. aka junkpile, salvage,
potentially good stuff cheap. Next stop landfill.

Although in Europe, I know the PDC does a very good job in finding
second 'lives' for obsolete, written-off and scrap equipment, from
computer-hardware to kitchen equipment (from site-closings, for
example). Thus preventing costs or adding profit to the Corporation. If
these products cannot be re-used in their original form, the next step
is part-reuse. Then comes material recycling (plastic, glass, ferro's,
non-ferro's, precious metals, etc.). If not for financial-economic reasons,
then for environmental reasons, the PDC is a very good thing. Use it!
