6166.0. "NODE and NODE4 registration of same node" by CUJO::BROWN (Dave Brown) Thu Nov 10 1994 14:02
I have a customer who would like to have a node defined in MCC as
both a NODE4 and a NODE. When registering the NODE aspect of the node
with the NODE4 already defined, the following error occurs:
Entity Existence Cannot be Determined
%MCC-E-ENTEXIST, Specified entity definition exists already
Any ideas? Should one be able to have a NODE4 and a NODE
registration of the same node? The reason the customer wants to do this
is to support their alternation between phase4 and OSI.
Thanks,
Dave

I was thinking about this problem and discussing it with Walt at
the CXO CSC and we supposed that this problem may be one of identical
synonyms. Does this sound reasonable?
