6023.1 | 5942.*? | CUJO::BROWN | Dave Brown | Thu Jun 16 1994 17:25 | 12 |
|
I see that there was a question exactly like mine (5942.*) asked on
8-APR-94 with no responses yet. It's good I'm not the only one
reporting this problem; its bad that there has been no input.
If anyone has any insight/information on this issue, please
respond.
Thanks,
Dave

6023.2 | Please fill a CLD. | TAEC::FLAUW | Marc Flauw, CEM Technical Office, VBO | Mon Jun 20 1994 05:50 | 14 |
| re: .0
The DECnet Phase IV AM is not dictionary-driven, so adding support for new
things like FDDI counters is not just compiling a MIB or loading an MSL, as it
can be done with SNMP AM or DECnet Phase V AM.
A change of the Phase IV AM requires a change inthe MSL and in the AM code.
I would strongly suggest, if not already done, that you fill a CLD for this
problem. It is the guarantee that it will be followed.
Best regards,
Marc.

6023.4 | Need a customer. | SCCA::Dave | You think I know something about Netview? | Mon Aug 22 1994 19:14 | 4 |
| As there is no information, like a customer name,
I cannot tell if there is a CLD for this problem.

Yes, there is already a CLD logged on this problem. (CFS.15462), but
there is actually no date to fix it. Next PNM kit should be available
beginning of october, so ...

6023.6 | Running it on a 11/780 ???? | SCCA::Dave | You think I know something about Netview? | Fri Aug 26 1994 16:08 | 11 |
| My database says 15462 (SD Labs, Englewood, CO)
is solved, awaiting a reply from the field. The last entry
was made by someone named IPMT$GCM_US1 (might this be
Jim Gay), on 6/28. and they seem to own placing an update in the CLD.
and either accepting or rejecting the solution. Untill then, Engineering
would not be looking at it, because it is marked as "Solved"
From reading the CLD, the DEC person also stated that they are
running MCC on a 11/780... Boy, that must be real slow....
