| Thanks Steve, but I've already talked to them. They won't know about
slips for awhile, I haven't heard very good things about the
marina anyway. I just need any info about Danvers Port, because
they have room for me now, and they just mailed me a contract.
Before I commit myself to them, I'ld just like any feedback anybody
has on the matina.
Thanks again,
joe

| Joe: I've got a question for your question. How much a ft does the
marina in danversport charge and whats included.
A friend has kept his boats inCape ann marina and says he can get
me a slip at $16. a ft. includes potty water, electric, heads -showers
laundry,pool,ba-ba-q area and parking.
I'll be looking for a place in the spring also.

573.4 | is $16/ft right price? | SMURF::AMATO | | Wed Jan 13 1988 06:59 | 13 |
| Hi Walt,
They want $45/ft, with water and electricity. There are heads at
a tackle shop (available during shop hours), but no showers. Are
you sure about that $16/ft? All the marinas that I have called
are from $50/ft up to $75/ft. The $70-$75/ft price range all came
from the Glouscter, Cape Ann area. What side of the cape is the
marina? This sounds too good to be true. If the $16/ft is right,
does he have rom for me? Give me a call if you want.
Thanks

| Hi
I was wrong on the price. It is $75. Ft At cape ann, The sixteen
ame from the price of the boat for the year, it was a special deal
if I bought my friends Bertram. Sort of an incentive.
Anyway I just bought a new boat and rented a slip at City Boat Works
Marina in Newburyport it is a good deal at $48. ft. and the location
is great!!
What kind of boat do you have and did you find a slip?

Hi Walt,
I finally got into Danvers Port for $45/ft. Cheapest place I could
find. I didn't try Newburyport because I didn't like the thought
of running the river every weekend. We've got a 24ft Grady White
Offshore. It should be up here around May 1. What kind of Bertram
is your friends? I'm not in the market but just curious. I plan
on fishing cod and halibut until July. Then I'm going to start
looking for my first giant. I also hope to try some sharkin and
plan at least one night trip to look for stripers. I'll be fishing
the northwest corner of Stellwagon, off of Halibut point, or up
around souther Jeffries. Maybe we can meet sometime.
Our boat is kingfisher, and I usually hang out around channels 69-74,
or wherever anybody else is. What kind of boat did you get, what's
the name, where do you usually fish and what do you go for?
See ya around
